About Us
The original Universal Kidney Center was established in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in March, 1997 to market outpatient kidney dialysis services.
Since 1997, the original Universal Kidney Center has been the blueprint for the establishment of four other successful sister South Florida kidney dialysis clinics :
Universal Kidney Centers offer the best, quality hemodialysis treatment services to all End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. All of our facilities are “State of the Art,” utilizing the latest dialysis treatment technology.
Our goal is to prolong every dialysis patient’s life by providing the best medical doctors, nurses and technicians, and the best quality care; encouraging patients in treatment compliance; educating the patients on renal diet with our in-house dietician and social service counseling and personal activities with our in-house social worker.
In addition, we provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all dialysis patients, making their dialysis treatments as pleasant as possible. Each dialysis station is equipped with cable TV/VCR. A library of first rated movies and Bingo games with prizes are offered as well as access to Internet surfing and a telephone for personal and business use while being dialyzed.
